Melangkah di Tanah Beribu Harapan
On soil that has fed generations, a father hands his child more than a harvest, he plants the hope that the family's roots will hold.
The Stills
The Film
A young child pleads to follow their father to the kebun, and a small promise becomes a passing of the torch across a working plantation. Through quiet, tactile moments it watches a parent teach a child that the land is both a threatened livelihood and an inheritance worth protecting, positioning banking as the patient partner that helps a family's roots deepen.
The Craft
Shot with cinematic scope and a letterbox 2.39 frame, the piece leans on natural light, earthy plantation palettes, and wide compositions that place the small human figures against the vastness of the land. The craft is observational and restrained: long, patient takes, tactile close-ups of hands at work, and a music-led sound design that lets emotion build without narration.
The Cast
Casting favors lived-in authenticity over polish, a real-feeling father and child whose chemistry carries the story with minimal dialogue. The naturalistic performances let gesture and landscape do the emotional work.
