Tokopedia Cantik Fest
Two gift-box mascots usher shoppers through a dollhouse world that swells, block by block, into a miniature city built entirely from beauty products.
The Stills
The Film
Cantik Fest sends two performers in oversized gift-box costumes bounding through a string of candy-colored miniature sets, a boutique, a bedroom, a mall corridor, each scaled and dressed like a dollhouse room. The film builds to its punchline: the camera pulls back from a woman scrolling the Tokopedia app to reveal she's sitting inside a full miniature city, its skyline built from giant product bottles and category billboards for beauty, fashion, and mom-and-baby goods.
The Craft
The production leans hard into practical-scale miniature work, tiny storefronts, toy cars, and building-sized product packaging staged as an actual tabletop city, intercut with human-scale room sets in the same saturated pink-and-green palette so the two worlds read as one continuous universe. Editing keeps pace with quick costume changes and a kaleidoscope multiplication effect on the dancers, while the camera move that pulls back from phone screen to city skyline is timed as the film's central reveal.
The Cast
Two performers carry the film as gift-box-costumed guides, athletic, high-energy dancer-hosts rather than a single celebrity face, cycling through matching pink-and-green looks to keep the tone playful and brand-forward. They're joined by a rotating supporting cast, a delivery rider, shoppers, a mother and child, that populate the miniature world without ever pulling focus from the two leads.
