The Film
Told entirely through finger-puppet hands moving across miniature dioramas, a village house, a living room, a city skyline, the film narrates the ache of a Ramadan spent apart from loved ones during the pandemic, then pivots on the idea that paying bills and buying Ramadan needs from anywhere keeps that distance from feeling so far.
The Craft
A tabletop stop-motion world built from real props scaled down, wooden houses, potted palms, toy chickens, a phone prop with the Tokopedia app on screen, shot on a seamless green backdrop that reads as open sky, closing on the Tokopedia Salam gift-box mark.
The Cast
No on-camera actors, the film is carried entirely by a pair of adult hands in batik sleeves moving through the miniature sets, an anonymous, universal stand-in for any family reaching toward home.
